MICCROMASK^®

MICCROMASK® is a Stop-Off lacquer designed for use in hard chrome and lead plating processes. This specialized masking fluid provides a reliable protective barrier for metal surfaces that must remain free of plating during finishing operations. As a durable liquid maskant, MICCROMASK® is formulated to resist demanding plating conditions and holds up under harsh acid based chemical plating processes and high electrical current densities.

This chemical masking liquid is applied by dipping, brushing or spraying, allowing flexibility to accommodate different part geometries and production requirements. Coating thickness can be adjusted to suit the specific masking requirements of the plating process. For applications involving extended exposure, a third application is used for longer plating times to provide additional masking protection.

After the plating process is complete, MICCROMASK® can be removed using MICCRO® REDUCER, MICCROSTRIP® A or MICCRO SAFE-STRIP® C**, depending on the application and removal requirements.

Available in 1 gallon, 5 gallon and 55 gallon containers.
